Mr. Moncy Cherian: 25 years and counting as the organist of CSI Parish, Sharjah!

Twenty-five years of dedicated service as an organist in a church is something which should be highly appreciable. That is why the CSI parish, Sharjah, decided to honour Mr. Moncy Cherian, the church organist. Mr. Renchi gave an introductory speech which was followed by honouring Mr. Moncy. Rev. Sunil Raj Philip, the Vicar, honoured the organist with a shawl while Mr. Biju Ovanalil, the Church Warden, handed over the memento prepared by the church. Mr. Moncy made a speech of thanks in which he explained how he started this service to God and how God has been a source of strength and a source of inspiration in this quarter of a century. He informed the congregation that he started the service at his home parish, Machukadu CSI Church, more than thirty years back.

After the worship service, the church choir also honoured Mr. Moncy in their gathering. Choir Master Mr Sunil Abraham led the meeting. They presented a shawl and a memento on behalf of the choir members.
