Mumbai Shalom Mission Director Rev. Abraham Sathyanathan Addresses Sharjah CSI Women’s Fellowship

Abraham Sathyanathan, Director of Shalom Mission, a charitable organization based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and a Presbyter of the Madhya Kerala Diocese, was the esteemed guest at the recent meeting of the Sharjah CSI Women’s Fellowship. During the session, he graciously shared about the meaningful work undertaken by Shalom Mission.

The mission is committed to rescuing and rehabilitating women who, either due to personal circumstances or external forces, have found themselves in vulnerable situations within Mumbai’s Red Street. With compassion at its core, Shalom Mission provides these women with a new beginning offering them shelter, emotional and spiritual support, vocational training, and educational opportunities to help them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

Rev. Sathyanathan spoke with heartfelt sincerity, sharing real-life stories of transformation and healing. He emphasized the importance of prayerful support for the mission and encouraged each one present to be a source of strength and restoration for those in need.

He also expressed deep gratitude towards the Sharjah CSI Women’s Fellowship for their generous support in the construction of a residential facility for the rescued women. He especially appreciated the Fellowship’s decision to sponsor a room in the new building, recognizing it as a noble act of kindness and partnership in this life-changing ministry.

The meeting was marked by warmth and fellowship. Women’s Fellowship Secretary, Mrs. Jancy Biju, extended a cordial welcome to the guest and all those present.
