Make a Secured Connection with God: 2nd Day VBS 2025 Continues to Enthrall Children

Theme: Secured Connection with God
Date: [25th March 2025] VBS Director: Abey Achen

On the second day of Vacation Bible School (VBS), the focus was on strengthening a secured connection with God. The day began with engaging classes where children learned how to build a strong, trusting relationship with God. They were taught that a secure connection with God can provide guidance, protection, and comfort in all circumstances.

Throughout the day, the children sang songs that emphasized God’s love and faithfulness. These songs not only uplifted their spirits but also reinforced the theme of the day.

The central message for the day was derived from the story of Jonah. Abey Achen shared how Jonah initially tried to run away from God’s calling but ultimately realized that God’s plans are always for the best. The children learned about obedience, repentance, and God’s endless grace, all of which are essential to maintaining a secured connection with Him.

In addition to the spiritual teachings, the children participated in fun, interactive games that emphasized teamwork and trust, reinforcing the day’s theme. These activities helped the children better understand the importance of staying connected to God through both learning and play.

The day ended on a high note, with children reflecting on the lessons they learned and sharing their thoughts on how to maintain a strong relationship with God.
