When you wear a saree, let it be for a noble cause!
Women’s Fellowship of CSI Parish, Sharjah, organised a Saree Sale on Sunday (26.11.2023) after the worship service. The beautiful sarees with exquisite embroidery work were from Thabitha Tailoring Centre in Kottayam, run by CSI Madhya Kerala Diocesan Women’s Fellowship. Under a project titled ‘ELIOS’, the Diocesan Women’s Fellowship extends financial support to cancer patients for chemotherapy and kidney patients for dialysis with the proceeds of the saree sale. Mrs. Nivi Susan George, the President of the Women’s Fellowship, inaugurated the saree sale. Mrs. Mercy Anil received the first saree in a function during the Sunday worship service. All the sarees were sold out, and the proceeds will be of benefit to the needy patients.
