The CSI Parish Sharjah Women’s Fellowship successfully organized the 3rd edition of the Payasam Contest on Sunday, 7th September 2025. The event was held with much anticipation and prayer, and by the grace of Almighty God, it became a joyful and spiritually enriching cultural gathering that strengthened fellowship and unity among the members.
The program was inaugurated by the Vicar, Rev. Sunil Raj Philip, followed by a heartfelt welcome address from the Women’s Fellowship President, Nivi Kochamma. The opening prayer was led by the Vice President, Mrs. Mercy Anil.
The contest was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges, Mrs. Leena Varghese and Mrs. Ashwathi Praveen, who rendered their services with dedication.
Results of the Competition:
First Prize: Mrs. Juslin Ann Josen
Second Prize: Mrs. Ida Sarah Mathew
Third Prize: Mrs. Bency Jelin
The winners were each awarded cash prizes, trophies, and certificates. In addition, certificates of participation were presented to all contestants in recognition of their efforts.
The Women’s Fellowship Secretary, Mrs. Jancy Biju, delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the program.
The event concluded with the Closing Prayer and Benediction by the Vicar, Rev. Sunil Raj Philip. The creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm of all the participants made the contest a memorable occasion. All glory and honor be to God Almighty.
