On December 2, 2025, the members of CSI Parish, Sharjah, embarked on a delightful picnic to the historic Jahili Fort and Park in Al Ain.
The day began early, with a convoy of three buses departing the church premises at 6:30 AM. The journey itself set the tone for the event, filled with camaraderie and a shared breakfast en route.
Upon arrival, the attendees participated in a variety of engaging games and activities arranged by the game coordinators which added colour to the fellowship. The event was meticulously organised by the Church Committee officers and members, with significant support from representatives of various parish organisations.
The outing concluded on a high note with a spirited tug-of-war competition for both children and adults. In the children’s category, the girls’ team secured a memorable victory.
The group began their return journey around 5:00 PM, concluding a day marked by safety, joy, and God’s abundant blessings.
Sincere appreciation is extended to the conveners, Mr. Saiju Mathew, Mr. Ajish P. Cherian, Mr. Joseph Abraham and game coordinators Mrs. Manju Gejo and Mr. Jenson Varghese for their dedicated efforts in making this picnic a resounding success.
