Sunday School Anniversary 2023 of the CSI Parish, Sharjah, was celebrated with various programmes by children
The CSI Parish of Sharjah celebrated their Annual Sunday School Anniversary on December 10, 2023, following the divine worship. This event is a cherished tradition, marking the achievement of our students and setting the stage for the year ahead.
The celebration began with an opening prayer, led by our Vicar, Rev. Sunil Raj Philip. This was followed by a warm welcome by our Headmistress, Mrs. Anila Philip who set the tone for the day’s events. Rev. Sunil Raj Philip then delivered the Presidential address, highlighting the importance of the Sunday School in our parish and the significant role it plays in the spiritual development of our young members.
The Annual Sunday School Report was presented by Mrs. Lissa Thomas, the Sunday School Secretary. This report gave an overview of the year’s activities and achievements.
This year, our students captivated the audience with an array of performances. Their hard work, dedication, and talent were evident as they took to the stage, each performance a testament to their growth and development. This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony, a moment to recognize the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our students over the past year.
Our Sunday School Anniversary Convenor, Mrs. Ida Mathew delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event. The event concluded with a prayer and benediction by Rev. Sunil Raj Philip. The Annual Sunday School Anniversary is a testament to the vibrant and thriving community at CSI Parish Sharjah. It is a celebration of our student’s success, the dedication of our teachers and the support of the parish. We look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
