Centered on the theme “Moulded to Mould” (to strive, to seek, to find and not to yield) drawn from Jeremiah 18:4 – “So the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him”- the session ¦guided the teachers through three reflective stages: understanding themselves as the potter, discerning the nature of the clay, and embracing the sacred task of moulding. Each stage emphasised the importance of humility, patience, and wisdom in the teaching mission.
Teachers were reminded that effective moulding begins with self-awareness and a deep understanding of each child, acknowledging both strengths and imperfections, much like the impurities within clay. By building trust and seeking God’s guidance, the teachers are first moulded by Him, and in turn, become instruments in His hands to shape young hearts and minds with wisdom, love, and faith.
