The Annual Convention 2023 of CSI Parish Sharjah continues on the second day; the speaker points out that we are called to walk with Christ in the trials of our lives
Brother Sheril Jose Thiruvalla continued his spiritual sermons on the second day of the annual convention 2023 of the CSI Parish, Sharjah. Based on Acts 27: 1- 7, he exhorted that the children of God are called to walk with Christ even in the trials of their lives. No one is exempted from the trials and tribulations in life. The Christian life has to be a proven life. Christian lives will be proved when we move through the trials. In the journey of Christian life, there will be restrictions. Then we should realize that there is a purpose for the journey and there is a divine calling. And there will be unfair hindrances on this journey which we have to face with the help of the divine presence. And there will be unending problems. The problems that come one after another are a feature of the Christian journey. But we should understand that God will provide us with alternatives in this journey, which will help us to face the dangers and challenges. And God will help us with rich resources. He will provide us contact friends, community friends, and close friends who will be of help in this difficult journey. And Christ is seen as the invisible and precious friend above all. Hence, we should be encouraged to walk with Christ and enjoy the presence of that invisible friend.
Brother Sheril Jose will be preaching today evening, the final day of the convention. He will be delivering the sermon on 17th Sunday during the Holy Communion Service too.
